National consultations on regional youth mobility in Zagreb and Sarajevo

National consultations on regional youth mobility, which are integral parts of the project “Advocating the Regional Youth Mobility Fund“, supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, took place in Zagreb and Sarajevo.

Consultations in Zagreb were organized on April 21. About 30 participants coming from youth NGOs, local and national public entities responsible for youth mobility and representatives of students’ university councils actively participated in consultations. Consultations aimed to gather inputs in three particular programme areas of the future fund: fields of mobility which should be mostly supported by the Fund, types of activities which should be in the focus of its work and finally, target groups (within youth population) which should receive majority of financial allocation.

Consultations in Sarajevo were structured in a similar way and also included about 30 representatives of numerous relevant stake holders working in the field of youth mobility. They took place in on April 26.

Written conclusion from all three national consultations (Belgrade, Zagreb, and Sarajevo) will be published shortly on the website of the Regional Initiative for Youth Mobility: www.rim.mladi.info.  This website will also contain a questionnaire which should enable all those who could not physically participate in consultations to give their inputs for the model of fund which should foster youth mobility between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.
