President of MMH on EU Youth Conference in Tallinn (Estonia), start of 6th cycle of the Structured Dialogue

Our president Josip Milicevic was between 23rd and 26th of October in Tallinn where he took part in youth conference where young people from all over Europe discuss future of youth, all trough principles of Structured Dialogue. Thoughts and ideas that they brought up will be the foundation for new EU Youth Strategy. Not just that, next month will bring consultations with young people all over Croatia. On this link you can see what were some of the topics discussed in Tallinn.

Alongside our president, Croatian delegation was consisted of: Vanja Glogovac, head of Youth and volunteering service in Ministry of Demographics, Family, Youth and Social Policy, then Annamaria Vuga, head of Youth department in same ministry and Mateja Kušić from The association Imagine. Current 6th cycle is running under presidency trio of: Estonia, Bulgaria and Austria and it will last until end of 2018. The topic of 6th cycle is “Youth in Europe: What’s Next?”

As it was mentioned earlier between first conference and next one in Sofia in April of 2018 each country will conduct consultations. In Croatia National working group on Structured Dialogue will conduct them between November 2017 and February 2018 both online and offline. The aim of consultations is to include young people in process and also implementation of Structured Dialogue on national level. Consequently that will also help them get involved in shaping of youth policy on national and European level.
